collaborative community effort

This effort included numerous opportunities for public and stakeholder involvement.  The design process was highly community-driven and the input from those who live and work on Roosevelt Island informed and guided each phase.  Input included reviewing material, providing feedback on draft documents, brainstorming ideas, sharing concerns, and more.  Learn more about the ways in which the community was involved throughout the process in the CommunityPlan for Southpoint Open Space.

As we move forward, we still describes the opportunities that that the project staff had to engage and work with the community throughout the process.
